Hi! One of my favorite techniques is many different ways of masking! This one I think of as 'reverse' masking. Instead of covering what I don't want to color on as in regular masking I mask the surrounding area so there is a border around what I'm stamping. Take a thicker piece of cardstock or acetate and die cut out the portion in the shape and size you want your image to be. In this case, I die cut an oval. I sponged ink (crushed curry and cantaloupe) inside this oval I placed over my card cardstock. Some people like to washi tape them together but if you're careful that isn't necessary. After sponging I stamped the images I wanted in Tuxedo Black Momento creating a silhouette effect. I hope this has given you a few ideas!
